What I ate in Amsterdam:

So I'm going to start off by confirming that this is going to be a short blog as we actually never had enough time to visit every instagramable place in Amsterdam because let me tell you there are a lot, however I shall do my best to take you through the places that we enjoyed and loved.
Pluk:

Pluk was by far my favourite place we went for breakfast as the food was to die for. This photo shows what me and John had between us and honestly I could have eaten the whole damn thing myself. We ordered a set of pancakes topped with fruit to share and then had one of their famous unicorn bowls each which were cute as heck by the way. The unicorn bowls are essentially smoothie bowls with granola, seeds, fruit and a cone for the unicorn obviously. The pancakes were massive and were coated in syrup and generous selection of fruit.
In addition to beautifully presented food the interior of the actual cafe has its own appealing aesthetic. This also makes for plenty of good photos and shots. The interior which consists of pillows, fair lights and plants gives the place a very homely and safe feel which you know I always enjoy. Overall, Pluk is very accommodating towards vegetarians, which as you know is essential for when deciding where to eat.
Vegan Junk Food Bar:

Now I am by no means vegan because, you all know I love my cheese, however I could actually survive off the food from 'The Vegan Junk Food Bar,' for breakfast lunch and dinner. As well as being extremely photogenic due to the variety of colours, the food is also absolutely mouthwatering and flavourful. We ordered the rainbow chips to share (their portions are generous shall we say) and one of the burgers on and blue and red bun each. These were the chicken burgers that they offer and I believe on the menu it has 'Daddy"(I've forgotten the exact title sorry) in the name. for those of you who would like to try it. Everything on the menu here is completely vegan although you would never realise it due to how cheesy and creamy everything is. This is by far the best vegan food that I have tried and would definitely visit here again when in Amsterdam.
Hard Rock Cafe:
When we discovered there was a Hard Rock Cafe so central to where we stayed we couldn't not go right. Although this was probably the most expensive meal of the holiday it was very tasty. There was a slight panic though however, when we couldn't find anything vegetarian
on the menu and thought we were just going to have cocktails for dinner, not that that would have been a problem for me of course. However we ended up finding and ordering the 'Moving Mountain's' burger which is completely veggie which suited us both fine. The mayo for the chips was genuinely the best thing ever and the cocktails were also a great success with us.
Wagamama's:
Now, I am more than aware that you can find this restaurant in most countries especially if you are like myself and live in the UK. However, I just personally love it and although me and John always try to throw ourselves into the culture and eat at local places or places relevant to where we are, on this particular night we had a busy schedule ahead of us and there was nothing else that was quiet around us and we just wanted something quick. Although I loved my meal here as it compared perfectly to all the ones we have tried in the UK. For those of you wondering I always get the katsu curry and switch between either the vegetarian or vegan one, although there is a chicken one available as well I believe for you meat eaters out there.
Although, we obviously ate at other places as well these places stood out to me the most and were also the most enjoyable. I have also heard that Ree7 and polaberry are great for getting more aesthetically pleasing food and I shall definitely make a point of visiting them both next time I go as they were on the itinerary for this trip however we ran out of time. I hope this helps you find enjoyable places to eat whilst on your travels as these were my top favourites from the trip.
